Senior Mainframe Developer

Only W2 (No C2C/1099)Senior Mainframe DeveloperContract 18 months (extension possible) Hybrid working model – 3 days onsite/2 days remote each week in Charlotte, NC PROJECT DETAILSThe Mainframe Software Developer will be supporting the core technology banking team that handles money movement applications for currency flow that moves through products and services. They will be assisting with updating, maintaining, creating new features, maintaining locations, and performing cleanups. DUTIES:- Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. - Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. - Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. - Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering. TOP SKILLS (Must have working expertise in these mainframe technologies)- Cobol - Job Control Language (JCL) - DB2 databases - CA7 scheduler - Network Data Mover (NDM) - IBM Mainframe Utilities - Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM) - System Display and Search Facility (SDSF) - Custom Information Control System (CICS) - IBM SPUFI - RACF Security Nice to have - Working knowledge on the use of AI tooling and technologies in the software development lifecycle. Agile Scrum experience, CoPilot or other AI tooling.
