You will be expected to actively use and experiment with AI-powered development tools to increase throughput, improve code quality, and streamline delivery pipelines.We’re looking for engineers who have taken applications from inception through production, are comfortable working across the stack, and are passionate about applying AI to real-world engineering challenges.ResponsibilitiesAI-First Engineering & DevelopmentDesign and build applications using Java, Python, and Spring BootLeverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and Windsurf to accelerate development workflowsIdentify opportunities to automate development tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effortContinuously evaluate and introduce new AI tools that enhance engineering productivityEnd-to-End Software DeliveryOwn the full software lifecycle from design and development through deployment and production supportBuild scalable, maintainable applications with a focus on performance and reliabilityContribute to architectural decisions and help define best practices for AI-enabled developmentAI / ML IntegrationIncorporate AI/ML capabilities into applications where applicableWork with APIs and services to integrate LLM-driven functionality into software productsExperiment with prompt engineering and AI-assisted workflows to improve outputsAgile / High-Throughput DevelopmentOperate within a fast-paced, delivery-focused environmentContribute to sprint cycles, backlog refinement, and continuous delivery processesHelp drive improvements in team velocity and engineering efficiencyCollaboration & InnovationPartner with product managers and other engineers to deliver high-impact solutionsShare knowledge and best practices around AI tools and development techniquesActively contribute to a culture of continuous learning and experimentationQualifications6+ years of software engineering experienceStrong development experience with Java, Python, and Spring BootProven experience delivering applications from inception to productionHands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf) to improve development workflowsFinancial services industry experienceStrong understanding of modern software development practices and architecturesAbility to work as a generalist across multiple layers of the stackPassion for AI and a mindset focused on innovation and continuous improvementPreferred ExperienceExperience integrating AI/ML or LLM capabilities into applicationsFamiliarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft AzureExposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation toolsExperience in high-growth or fast-paced engineering environmentsBackground in financial services is a plus, but not requiredNext StepsNo C2C, relocation, referral candidates, or sponsorship for this role.For finer details on how eNGINE can impact your career, apply today!
