This position will be based out of, both, The Veranda and The Streets of Brentwood based on business needs and event/activity dates.Key responsibilities include planning and implementation of center-wide promotional strategies and events, executing a digital marketing strategy, contract administration, managing public relations, marketing expense management, and maintaining effective tenant and customer-facing communications.As a member of the Marketing Team, the Marketing Manager will:Support revenue generation through marketing/advertising initiatives and specialty leasing administrative supportDrive merchant sales and center traffic through effective event execution and promotional strategiesMaintain comprehensive knowledge of customer preferences and market trends across all propertiesProtect and build property and CenterCal brands in the regionManage digital assets and social media presence for all supported propertiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist in overall management responsibilities for the shopping center by working with front office staff, third party marketing support and operations departmentsPlan and execute project-wide events, seasonal programs and promotions across multiple propertiesCoordination with the Business Development Manager and Specialty Leasing Manager, including license agreement execution and submission to accounting as neededWork closely with property management team and new tenants to effectively market store openings and assist with grand openingsManage strategic communication including advertising, public relations and in-project messaging to maintain market visibilityDrive social media strategy by reviewing and approving scheduled posts across all platforms to ensure quality and relevanceAssist with budget management including marketing expense contracting, events, sponsorship, and advertising incomePrepare correspondence, proposals, and presentations for various audiences regarding programs and projectsWork closely with corporate advertising sales agency to ensure maximum utilization of assetsHandle license agreement administration including applications, event agreements, and certificates of insuranceMaintain center websites and digital presenceSupport revenue generation through sponsorship coordinationMaintain frequent communication with tenants and apply feedback to marketing programs and reportingAnswer incoming calls, greet visitors, and manage front desk operations at The Veranda as neededAct as a primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and customersProcess incoming correspondence and maintain professional office environmentOther duties as assignedSCHEDULE: Monday through Friday. However, must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for events and Manager on Duty shifts.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.5+ years of experience in Marketing, Event Planning, or Project CoordinationShopping center, retail, and/or property management experience preferredStrong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detailExperience with social media management and digital marketing platformsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software systemsFamiliarity with REmaap software system, or comparable lease data integration platformExcellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with tenants, vendors, and customersAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesAbility to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamAbility to handle confidential information with discretionAbility to maintain professional demeanor in all interactionsBasic understanding of budget tracking and expense managementExperience with event coordination and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidaysSelf-motivated with a positive, solution-oriented attitudeAbility to read and understand basic business documentation (e.g. contract language)Must be willing to travel between properties as neededPHYSICAL DEMANDS: In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
