This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on while also acting as a go-to expert for system functionality, integrations, and performance improvements.You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure Workday is running efficiently, meets compliance standards, and adapts to evolving business needs.Key Responsibilities· Act as the primary technical expert for Workday HCM and related modules· Build, enhance, and maintain integrations and data workflows· Translate business needs into technical solutions and system configurations· Lead testing cycles, including validation and issue resolution· Identify opportunities to improve system performance and usability· Partner with HR and compliance teams to ensure data accuracy and regulatory alignment· Provide support for ongoing system maintenance and troubleshooting· Assist with Workday updates/releases and assess system impactRequired Qualifications· 5–8+ years of experience working directly with Workday systems Strong knowledge of HCM, with exposure to Payroll as a plus· Hands-on experience with integrations (EIB, Core Connectors; Studio is a bonus)· Proven track record handling:· System testing· Data validation· Requirements documentation· Ability to function as a self-driven technical contributor· Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProven experience in:· System testing & validation· Requirements gathering & documentation· Ability to work independently as a technical individual contributor· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred Skills· Experience working in a regulated environment (Healthcare, Finance, Pharma, etc.)· Prior experience in end-to-end Workday implementation or transformation projects· Familiarity with data security and compliance frameworks· Workday certifications (nice to have)
