Join us.We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician. In this position, you are part of a highly skilled team that is critical in supporting production and ensuring equipment is operational to consistently meet production goals and our customers' needs.As a Maintenance Associate, you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all mechanical equipment in the plant and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, determine the problem, and implement the repair. This position requires an understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, and steam systems. Qualified candidates must be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints proficiently and make necessary modifications.Additional ResponsibilitiesPlan, layout, and perform all required operations to install, maintain and repair a wide variety of plant equipment and accessoriesEffectively troubleshoot using manuals, schematics, and diagramsto diagnose and eliminate problems as they ariseSafely install, maintain, and upgrade 3-phase motor controlsystems, and AC/DC circuits, possess an understanding of basic relay logicUnderstand fluid power systems; troubleshoot, install, and repairpower units, valve operation, cylinders, motors, pumpsPerform basic fabrication by cutting and welding operationsPerform preventative maintenance on equipment using standard practices and proceduresMaintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderlyconditionFollow all company and equipment safety guidelines and ethics rulesMaintain lift truck operator's license, main lift, and other material handling equipmentBasic QualificationsGeneral HS Diploma / GEDAt least two (2) years of trade school or equivalent experience in industrial mechanical or electrical is requiredSkillsMechanical aptitude in complex mechanical assemblies including precision measurementsAble to read and interpret blueprintsKnowledge of conventional welding and industrial equipment operationsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilitiesAnalytical and detail-oriented mindsetExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Basic computer skills to maintain records, work history, and inventory of partsAbility to utilize meters, gauges, or other types of test equipment to facilitate quality and timely repairsWethrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
