Radiation Therapist Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,737 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Radiation Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: State License Required Certifications: ARRT (Radiation Therapy), BLS Must-Have: Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility to be eligible to apply. Description: Administers Radiation Therapy treatments. Maintains daily records of treatment, inclusive of daily dosages, calculations, and other necessary treatment records. Performs simulations, acquires treatment parameters, patient contours, and dose calculations. Maintains patient schedules for inpatients and outpatients. Communicates frequently with families and personnel to maintain schedule coordination and accommodate patients as best as possible. Monitors patient condition and progress on a daily basis. Assists Radiation Oncologist in the performance of procedures. Treats both outpatients and inpatients. Average about 80-90 treatments per day, with the department treating patients from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Utilizes linear accelerators for treatment, providing 3D, IMRT, SRS, and SBRT treatments. Conducts simulation appointments and manages CT scan schedules. Collaborates with a comprehensive team that includes Radiation Therapists, Nurses, Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and Physicists.
