Radiation Therapist Location: West Plains, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,846 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Oncology Radiation Therapist Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 17:00 Experience: Minimum of 1 Year License: ARRT (T) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Pretreatment (CT/iCT, CT Simulation, MRI, PET Scan) - Beam Modifying/Positioning (Block cutting, CBCT/kV/mV imaging) - Treatment Plans (Calculate doses of radiation, design treatment plans, supervise implementation) - Treatment (Benign Brain Tumors, Craniospinal, Total Body/Skin Irradiation) - Brachytherapy Description: Locals are not allowed. There is a 60-mile radius restriction with no exceptions. First-time travelers are accepted. There is no call required for this position. Skills required include treatment planning and delivery of radiation therapy. Experience with Record & Verify Systems is necessary. Knowledge of various treatment units is essential. General skills include patient care in restraints and emergency procedures. Professional knowledge of isolation precautions and radiation safety is expected. The daily census for the unit is approximately 10 patients. Candidates should be prepared to work some holidays. Floating to other departments may be required as needed. Any requests for time off must be approved before the start of the assignment. Expect to work in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support. Patient demographics include adults with various diagnoses. This position involves providing comprehensive care and support for treatment delivery.
