Asheville, NC On-Site Freudenberg Performance Materials LP (USA) You support our team as Electrical Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Direct/Support technicians, specialist, and contractors as required. Complete preventive/predictive maintenance work orders in a timely and efficient manner. Work with production personnel to accurately diagnose, troubleshoot, and correct problems. After hour response to emergency/breakdowns. Installation of new/repaired equipment. Provide support as needed/requested from other maintenance personnel and departments. Position is defined as electrical and instrumentation technician and must demonstrate proficiency in all areas such as electrical and mechanical maintenance/repair. The schedule is a 12 hour shifts that rotates between days and nights as follows: 4 days, 7 off, 4 nights, 3 off, 3 days, 1 off, 3 nights, 3 off The schedule is a four-week repeating schedule. The shifts are 6:50 am – 6:50 pm and 6:50 pm – 6:50 am. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Two year associate degree in electronics or related field. Must have satisfactorily completed at least one mechanical course and one maintenance training course on pneumatic, hydraulics, HVAC, steam or heat transfer systems and mechanical drive systems, and one course on PLC (Allen-Bradley) and DCS (Foxboro I/A). Five (5) years of satisfactory on-the-job experience in the electrical maintenance field or equivalent technical training course work.
