Job Summary:
As a Case Manager for the Employment Program, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals and families in achieving self-sufficiency through Employment. This position involves providing comprehensive case management services, facilitating access to employment resources available through the community as well as providing employment retention services. All services are empowering our individuals and families to overcome barriers to employment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Proficient written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively
Basic PC skills, including familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database entry software
Demonstrated competence in case management, including the ability to develop and implement individualized plans to support clients' needs
Experience collaborating with local social service providers to access resources and support for clients.
Bilingual capability preferred, with proficiency in [Languages]. Ability to effectively communicate and assist clients who may require language support.
Education and Experience:
Associate’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, or a related field preferred
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of five (3) years of experience working in a related field will be considered
Travel within the Capital District area is required
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicles are necessary. Mileage will be reimbursed
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.89 - $21.52 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
Work Location: In person
