Electrical Engineer

Job DescriptionSupport the design and engineering of AC distribution, electrical equipment, cable distribution, cable routing, cable tray/raceway, grounding, and related electrical infrastructureApply applicable NEC requirements and established LBNL, ALS, and ALS-U engineering practices to electrical distribution, equipment installation, grounding, cabling, and related infrastructure.Working knowledge of NEC requirements applicable to AC distribution and electrical equipment installation.Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD.Experience with 3D CAD software such as Revit or comparable tools.Experience with E-CAD tools for schematic capture, electrical layout, simulation, and design-for-manufacture.Advanced knowledge of NEC requirements and applicable electrical safety requirements, including NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E.Experience managing or supporting project cost, schedule, procurement, and installation execution.Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, particularly with experience in power electronics or power supplies.
