MQIPT Support Administrator
We are looking for an experienced MQ / MQIPT Support Administrator to support enterprise messaging infrastructure in a highly secure and fast-paced environment. This role involves installation, administration, troubleshooting, and security management of IBM MQ and MQIPT systems.Open locations: Seattle (WA), Dallas/Plano (TX), St. Louis (MO), Charleston (SC), Ridley Park (PA)Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot IBM MQ (WMQ) and MQIPTPerform MQ upgrades, deployments, and decommissioning activitiesManage and troubleshoot x.509 certificates for secure messagingWork closely with IBM support to resolve production issuesMaintain Linux systems and develop shell scripts for automationImplement and maintain MQ security protocolsCreate and maintain documentation, standards, and KB articlesProvide on-call support and ensure SLA adherenceFollow ITIL processes and manage ticketing systemsCollaborate in a SAFe Agile environment (ADO tools)Mentor junior team members and promote best practicesRequired Skills:Strong hands-on experience with IBM MQ (WMQ)Proven experience with MQIPT (MQ Internet Pass-Thru)Solid knowledge of Linux administration & shell scriptingExperience managing x.509 certificatesExperience in installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting of MQ environmentsFamiliarity with production support & on-call environmentsNice to Have:Experience with Perl scripting or C programmingExposure to SAFe Agile / Azure DevOps (ADO)Knowledge of ITIL processes & ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
