We are currently seeking a reliable, friendly, and self-motivated Healthcare Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors.
Position Summary
The Healthcare Receptionist plays a vital role in our front office operations. This position is ideal for someone who is naturally upbeat, takes pride in their work, and can thrive both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for creating a positive first impression, handling daily administrative duties, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and staff. Hours are Monday thru Friday 6:30am-1:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients, visitors, and staff with a warm, professional attitude
Answer phones, route calls, and respond to general inquiries
Schedule and confirm appointments using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
Maintain accurate patient records and check-in/check-out procedures
Process paperwork, forms, and insurance information with attention to detail
Verify insurance eligibility and obtain prior authorizations as needed
Submit billing information accurately and work with billing team to resolve claim issues
Monitor lobby area and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
Support clinical and administrative teams with daily operational tasks
Uphold HIPAA confidentiality and professional conduct at all times

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification preferred
1–2 years of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting strongly preferred
Experience with insurance verifications, authorizations, and billing processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with EHR systems
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
