Assistant Controller- Seattle

What You'll Do: The Assistant Controller will complete financial reports and schedules, inventory cost analysis, and month end procedures. Ideally this candidate will thrive in an autonomous, self-directed environment requiring minimal supervision. Work with the Controller in preparing timely and accurate financial statements, reconciliations and analysis. Analyze inventory cost accounting and assist with inventory accuracy. Maintain banking and insurance relationships. Complete fixed asset depreciation schedules. Ensure effectiveness of and improve internal controls. Provide management team with timely reviews of financial results and trends. Ad hoc reporting What Makes You a Good Fit: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Manufacturing accounting experience, including inventory costing. 5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP Systems. Solid experience in the preparation of financial statements. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Possess good judgement, planning skills and leadership traits.
