HR Coordinator
FPD in Miami, FL is currently looking for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to work at the direction of our COO on all matters related to HR. Responsibilities:
- Recruitment, onboarding including orientation & facilities tour
- Payroll processing, absence management, benefit pay
- Administer disciplinary write ups and assist supervisors with ensuring policy adherence, performance improvement and conflict resolution
- Record maintenance involving new hire documentation, termination, write ups, file audits, verification of employment requests, annual performance evaluations
- Benefits administration support (health insurance, 401k, other plans)
- Review and suggest updates to policies / handbook
- Safety training and development; complete incident reports
- Create, translate, distribute HR related memos and notices
- Assist with gathering and submitting data for annual reports (i.e. EEO-1 and ACA)
- Assist with answering the telephone as a back up to receptionist
- Assist with supplies ordering / replenishment
- Support other functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; must be bilingual Eng/Span
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Experience in human resources or related administrative roles
- Knowledge of employment & labor law
- Ability to handle employee orientation and evaluation processes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
