Ionbond is part of renowned Japanese industrial consortium IHI Group.What defines this job?Works closely with Customer Service and Operations to advise of any issuesVerify incoming customer product against purchase order specifications utilizing calipers, tape measures, scales, etc.Inspect, package and ship orders consistent with customer and company requirementsLoads and unloads trucks with the use of a walk behind fork liftMaintain inventory of shipping suppliesMaintain all assigned hardcopy & electronic records and is responsible for the accuracy of all documentsComplies with all established safety rules and work practicesDisplays proficiency and accuracy with order entry in the ERP systemDisplays proficiency with UPS Worldship, Fed-ex and freight carriersOther related duties as apparent or assignedWhat do we offer?Unleashing potential is at the core of our approach. One to three years' experience working in a shipping/receiving role in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills. Experience with FedEx, UPS, and other related shipping platforms. Ability to read fine print as small as 6 font, distinguish colors, and sit/stand for long periods of time. Strong PC skills, including the ability to type and use MS Office software. Strong communication skills; both verbal and written. Strong work ethic, organization, and time management skills. The working schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
