Cook Children's Physician Network is looking for a friendly and energetic Licensed Vocational Nurse to function in collaborative practice with physician(s) and/or nurse practitioner(s) in physician practice or clinic setting. The LVN candidate will Provide ambulatory nursing care as directed by physician(s) and/or nurse practitioner(s), including patient and family focused assessment, intervention, and education. Skillfully and consistently performs daily clinical duties per established policy and procedure. QUALIFICATIONS :Graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing.Current license to practice vocational nursing in the State of Texas required.Current CPR certification required.Minimum 1 year pediatric nursing experience in clinic or office setting or equivalent (i.e., Family Practice with heavy pediatric population) preferred.Promise It's a strong word that everyone understands, especially kids.At Cook Children's, we've made a promise to improve the health of every child in our region.
