Responsible for providing care to patients in the emergency department. Unable to approve time off from mid-June to July. Candidates should have the willingness to occasionally work varying day to mid shifts (i.e., 6 AM, 9 AM, 10 AM, 11 AM). The emergency department includes 37 beds and is a Level 2 trauma center. Staff consists of 73 FTEs. Typical day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, and 2 techs/paramedics. Mid-shift staff includes 5 RNs and 2 mid-shift techs. Night shift staff consists of 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, and 2 techs/paramedics. Patient ratios are 1:4 in the zone. Equipment used includes GE monitors with EMR system MediTech. Candidates should possess high energy, be self-motivated, and amicable. Typical procedures performed in the emergency department.
