Estimator

Position Overview SERVPRO of Clovis is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing restoration team. This role is responsible for creating accurate and timely estimates for water, fire, and mold losses using Xactimate, while also providing administrative and project management support. The ideal candidate has hands-on industry experience, understands insurance-driven restoration workflows, and can confidently interpret scope sheets to build comprehensive estimates. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates for water, fire, and mold, biohazard, contents restoration projects using Xactimate Review and interpret scope sheets to create accurate, compliant estimates Support Project Managers with administrative and operational tasks Assist with job scheduling, customer and insurance communications, and email correspondence Draft and respond to estimate disputes and insurance revisions Collaborate with Project Managers, office staff, and technicians to ensure smooth job progression Maintain organized and accurate project documentation Communicate professionally with homeowners, adjusters, and vendors Qualifications Restoration industry experience required (water, fire, mold) Proficiency in Xactimate (required) Strong understanding of scope writing and estimate creation Ability to read and interpret insurance scopes and line items Experience working with insurance carriers and dispute processes Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office systems Preferred Experience Prior experience with SERVPRO or similar restoration companies Knowledge of insurance estimating standards and pricing Experience supporting Project Managers or operations teams Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) 3% Match 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
