We're partnering with a leading technology integrator providing complex engineering and enterprise information technology solutions to government and commercial clients.The Role Lead SQL migration projects from on-premises to AWS and Azure cloud environments. Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level SQL Server platforms across hybrid cloud settings. Drive architecture and capacity planning for mission-critical databases. Implement and maintain disaster recovery strategies for SQL environments in AWS and Azure. Monitor performance, integrity, and security of database platforms and resolve anomalies. Mentor other DBAs on AWS and Azure Cloud best practices and contribute to automation initiatives.What You'll Need Extensive experience in SQL Server administration, both on-premises and in AWS/Azure Cloud. Proven expertise in migrating SQL Always-on and SQL Clusters to AWS and Azure (IaaS and PaaS). Strong background in SQL Server installation, configuration, optimization, and maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and implement database performance optimizations. Hands-on experience with database security solutions like TDE and SSL/TLS.
