Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must live 150 miles or more from facility - May be required to float to different floors Description: Registered Nurses deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process. Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Nurses effectively interact with patients and visitors while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. Registered Nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered, Registered Nurses must be well-versed in various health conditions. Patient age groups include adults and geriatric patients. Daily census in the unit is approximately 30 patients. The unit consists of 33 beds. Clinicians must be available to complete needed lab items within 72 hours of accepting the offer or have a plan in place for completion in that timeframe. Charting experience is preferred. Travel experience is also preferred.
