The Journeyman Electrician reports to the Electrical Integrations Manager. Responsibilities include building/ wiring premanufactured units and testing/troubleshooting. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, PLC’s, UPS’s and circuits. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems such as: switch gears, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, conveyor systems, lighting, PLC’s, and UPS’s. Testing electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or Megger, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Inspecting systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes (NFPA 70e, API 500). Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Lead a small team of Apprentice's and contractors to complete scopes of work. JOB REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent work experience 4+ years’ experience in commercial/industrial electrical Wyoming Journeyman license Ability to multi-task Good time management skills Experience working with hand tools, power tools and electronic equipment Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, material safety data sheets (MSDS), mechanical drawings, maintenance repair, installation and procedure manuals.
