****FULLY REMOTE****ScolerTec Inc has immediate opening for senior Java software engineer to support a federal agency. The position is fully remote and is part of an agile development team to build solutions in support of mission critical applications.Responsibilities:.Create and maintain front end using JSF, angular and other front end technologies.Create and maintain REST web services using Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Eureka) and Jersey.Improve performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.Be part of Agile team and work on the entire lifecycle from requirements, architecture, design, development, testing to deployment.Build and deploy solutions using software development best practices.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree plus a minimum of seven years (7+) of specialized experience in software development, architecture and support.Experience in developing software applications using modern technology stackExpert level Java development experience.Proficient in trouble shooting and root cause analysis.Experience in developing RESTful web services.Experience with Spring frameworkExperience in cloud-based environments.Experience working with ORM tools/frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA. SQL and data modeling experience.Significant experience with Java Server Faces (JSF)Experience with JSP, Servlets and JSF.Experience in analyzing log files generated by servers, Splunk tool and other performance monitoring tools.Experience in technologies and frameworks such as Spring Boot, HTML/ CSS/ JavaScript, Angular, React JS and cloud native applications
