You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and may serve as aLead Structural Engineer for medium-sized projectsor aSub-Lead on larger projects . This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesStructural Design & AnalysisPerform advanced structural analysis and design with minimal supervisionApply engineering techniques, procedures, and industry standardsConduct lateral analysis (wind & seismic) in compliance with US building codesDesign and analyze steel and concrete structuresProject Leadership & ExecutionLead structural scope for medium-sized projects or support large-scale projectsPlan, prioritize, and manage workload to meet schedule, budget, and quality goalsDefine scope, forecast effort, and identify scope changesEscalate risks and issues to Structural Lead or Project ManagerQuality & ComplianceEnsure high standards of quality control and accuracyPerform and review structural calculations (self and peers)Maintain compliance with codes such as IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISCCollaboration & CommunicationCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designCommunicate technical requirements clearly in drawings and modelsBuild strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersLeadership & MentorshipProvide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior engineers and designersSupport development of workflows, systems, and toolsStay current with industry trends and emerging technologiesMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred)Professional Engineer License (PE/PEng)10+ years of structural engineering experienceProficiency with US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)Proficiency with structural analysis tools, Navisworks, and BluebeamStrong experience in steel and concrete structural designExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Civil/Structural EngineeringStructural Engineer (SE) LicenseExperience in semiconductor or industrial facilitiesExperience leading medium-sized teamsWorking Conditions & RequirementsMust be located in the USA Southwest Region or CanadaMust have reliable home internet for remote workAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionKey SkillsAdvanced Structural Analysis & DesignSeismic & Wind Load ExpertiseProject Leadership & Team ManagementEngineering Software (Navisworks, Bluebeam)Problem-Solving & Decision-MakingCommunication & Stakeholder Management
