Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years minimum required License: Active RN License Certifications: Oncology certification preferred Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Oncology - Strong experience in team nursing - Willingness to work on weekends as needed - No first-time travelers accepted unless they have 3 years of recent experience Description: Seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse. This position is focused on patient care for oncology patients on a medical surgical unit. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting. Team nursing is the approach used in this unit; previous experience is crucial. Oncology certification is preferred but not required. Candidates with 3 years of recent experience may be considered if they are first-time travelers. All candidates must be in compliance with licensing guidelines. Flexibility with scheduling is required, including the possibility of working weekends. Travelers must be prepared to work during major holidays if they fall within the assignment timeframe. Strict adherence to submission requirements is necessary to ensure compliance with facility policies. Local candidates residing within a certain distance are not eligible.
