Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Oklahoma Start Date: April 23, 2026 Location: Duncan, Oklahoma Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, every other weekend required, block scheduling available Highlights: Level II Trauma Center with STEMI and Stroke certification Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2-3 in a 22-room emergency department 12-hour orientation with supportive interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, pharmacy, and radiology Diverse patient population across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics Meditech charting system experience preferred Flexibility to float within scope and accommodate block schedules Requirements: Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience Active Oklahoma RN license in hand prior to submission (pending licenses not accepted) Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC, and ISTAT Experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, and central line care Proficiency in triage, IV starts and maintenance, dysrhythmia interpretation and management Competency with ventilated patients, procedural sedation, and BiPAP/CPAP management COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This emergency department provides comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions including trauma, stroke, cardiac emergencies, orthopedic injuries, and pediatric cases, offering rich clinical diversity and skill development.
