This position will provide support on administering and monitoring sexual assault and domestic violence grants and programs. Your premium skills in program development, project management, and public speaking will be essential in creating impactful initiatives and engaging with diverse stakeholders. Additionally, your relevant skills in fundraising and administrative experience will support the organization in achieving its goals. Duties Monitor and ensure programs are meeting the outlined goals of grants Submit reimbursements for grants Submit grant reports on progress and statistics Provide advocacy to domestic violence and sexual assault survivors and victims Developing strong work relationships with community agencies, granting agencies, and any other organization or program that can strengthen programming for Options. Research and prepare grants Assistant in additional duties related to the position that may arise and general office shelter support. Qualifications - Associate’s degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred. Degrees in in human services, social science field, or accounting/business preferred. Experience in grants management and victims’ advocacy preferred -Knowledge and experience in grant writing and reporting -Have excellent organizational skills, public speaking skills and mathematical skills. -Have the ability to show compassion, to make appropriate referrals, and to mobilize other individuals to take a no tolerance stance against domestic and sexual violence. - Administrative experience is a plus. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week Work Location: Hybrid remote in Morganton, NC 28655
