Job Title: Manufacturing / Process Engineer (Quality & Packaging)Job Type: Contract | OnsiteLocation : Plymouth, MN Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMJob SummarySeeking a Manufacturing / Process Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in quality, packaging, or manufacturing engineering. This onsite role will support production by improving manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment to enhance productivity, product quality, and operational efficiency. Six Sigma exposure is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to support daily production goalsLead projects involving new equipment, process improvements, and cost reduction initiativesSupport new product introductions and ensure smooth production implementationConduct Process FMEAs and process validationsImprove quality, labor efficiency, and throughput using Lean manufacturing principlesCoordinate design, procurement, build, and debugging of tooling, machinery, and test equipmentPartner with Product Development to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM)Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and techniciansCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production and process issuesSupport quality systems, compliance initiatives, and regulatory requirementsRequired Qualifications3–5 years of experience in Quality, Packaging, or Manufacturing EngineeringExperience with process improvement in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Process FMEA and process validationStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong communication and team collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsSix Sigma exposureLean Manufacturing experienceExperience supporting tooling, fixtures, and production equipmentKnowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
