Sr. Software Engineer
About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with 12+ years of software development experience to design, develop, and lead enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, SQL/PLSQL, and modern UI technologies such as Angular and React.The candidate will work closely with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.Design and implement scalable Microservices-based architectures.Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and performance-optimized database solutions using PL/SQL.Develop responsive and reusable UI components using Angular and/or React.Collaborate with UI, backend, database, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.Perform code reviews, technical design reviews, and provide technical guidance to team members.Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root-cause analysis.Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.Work with Maven for build and dependency management.Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimation, planning, and technical discussions.Mentor junior and senior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.Mandatory Skills12+ years of professional software development experience.Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE.Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Framework.Extensive experience in Microservices architecture.Strong experience with REST APIs and distributed systems.Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.Experience with Oracle Database or equivalent relational databases.Hands-on experience with Angular and/or React.Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.Strong experience with Maven.Strong understanding of software design principles, OOP, SOLID, design patterns, and clean coding practices.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.Good To HaveExperience in the Healthcare / Healthcare IT domain.Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, or healthcare interoperability.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.Experience with cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience With Kafka Or Other Messaging Systems.Knowledge of automated testing and TDD/BDD practices.EducationBachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can contribute to architecture and design while also actively coding. The candidate should be comfortable working across the backend, database, and UI layers and should have the ability to guide a development team while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
