Specialty: Correctional Healthcare Discipline: RN Pay: Travel Pay (must live at least 75+ miles away): 36 Hour Week: $2,002 Weekly Gross Taxable Hourly: $21/hr Tax-Free Stipends: $1,246 48 Hour Week: $2,446 Weekly Gross Taxable Hourly: $21/hr Regular / $45/hr OT Tax-Free Stipends: $1,246 Hours: 36/48 Rotation Contract Length: 13 Week Contract (can extend) Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizenship required for ICE clearance ICE Clearance process takes around 3-4 weeks Start date begins once clearance is completed Position Overview Aequor Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide healthcare services at Diamondback Correctional Facility in Watonga, Oklahoma. The RN is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to inmates/residents, including executing Licensed Independent Provider orders, administering medications, responding to medical emergencies, and assisting providers with examinations and treatment. Responsibilities: Provide nursing care and assessments for inmates/residents Administer medications and treatments as ordered and document appropriately Assist providers during sick call and medical examinations Respond to medical emergencies and perform emergency procedures as needed Monitor chronic conditions and evaluate illnesses or injuries Refer patients to emergency care or outside providers when necessary Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality of medical records Supervise and support LPN/LVN and medical support staff Provide health education and counseling to inmates/residents Ensure proper handling and security of medications and medical supplies Collaborate with facility staff and healthcare providers to coordinate care Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment 1 year of professional nursing experience required Valid driver's license required Strong documentation and communication skills Must reside at least 75 miles from facility Ability to work in a secure correctional environment Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks (initial) Schedule: 36/48 rotation Shifts: Day or night shifts based on facility scheduling needs Aequor Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance Weekly Pay 401(k) Retirement Plan
