Team members work in a fast-moving environment at the intersection of AI, commerce, and next-generation consumer engagement.Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Full Stack Developer Intern role based in San Jose, CA, with flexibility to work from home part of the week. The intern will assist in building and maintaining end-to-end web applications, contributing to both front-end interfaces and back-end services that power GenPark’s agentic discovery platform. Daily work includes implementing user-facing components, integrating APIs, writing clean and testable code, and collaborating with designers and product managers to deliver new features. The intern will help debug issues, optimize performance, and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency across the stack. The role offers mentorship from experienced engineers and the opportunity to work on real-world systems used by global brands and consumers.Qualifications Proficiency in Front-End Development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), including building responsive, accessible user interfaces.Foundational experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, such as working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.Interest or experience in Full-Stack Development, integrating front-end and back-end components into cohesive applications.Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar) and common web frameworks.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.Effective communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, hybrid environment.Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Bonus: Exposure to cloud platforms, version control (Git), testing practices, or AI/ML-driven products.
