Advanced degree preferred.Licenses/Certifications: Certified Public Accountant preferredExperience / Knowledge / Skills:Minimum seven (7) years of work experience in net revenueEffective oral and written communication skillsRevenue accounting knowledge and experience requiredSkills must include analytical capabilities sufficient for providing net revenue observationsWorking knowledge of net revenue and reimbursement structures from commercial and government payorsExperience retrieving data from various systems such as Excel, Lawson, EPSI, and Crowe RCAPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESLead level analyst; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staffSupports monthly financial close process with specific focus on ensuring data content accuracy, preparing trend models, researching rate variance explanations and communicating findings. Journal entry preparation and reconciliation is required.Analyzes and interprets financial data, discerns important trends that can be used by management for decision making.Contributes to the development of accounting reserve methodologies.Prepares schedules for financial reporting to external sources, to include auditorsSeeks to understand the relationships and dependencies from all aspects of the revenue cycle and reimbursement sources on the net revenue performance.Prepares Managed Care contract performance trending reportsLiaises with departments across the organization, to include finance executivesContributes to cross-departmental projects and net revenue software implementationsRemains informed of government and commercial reimbursement and regulatory changesActive in the Crowe RCA user communityPromotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization.Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences.
