Apply via Dice today!Job Title: Technical WriterProject Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid)Mandatory Qualifications: Translating complex technical concepts into user-friendly language for both technical and non-technical readers;Experience with documentation platforms, wikis, or content management systems (CMS)Updating and maintaining procedures and process documentation;Creating and maintaining workflow and process diagrams utilizing tools such as MS Visio;Creating presentations for both internal and external stakeholders utilizing tools such as MS PowerPoint;Drafting user manuals, desk procedures, and other process documentation;Working collaboratively with business analysts and other team members to identify and document requirements;Demonstrating compliance with accessibility guidelines such the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Desirable Qualifications: Possession of a *Bachelor s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent in the fields of English, Technical Communication, Journalism, or Computer Science. Minimum of five (5) years of experience working on information technology projects as a technical writer; Minimum of three (3) years of experience providing technical writing services to public entities; Minimum of three (3) years of experience applying the principles of industry standard style guides such as the Microsoft Manual of Style or Chicago Manual of Style.
