Interior Designer | Atlanta, GAWorking Style: In Office | Full TimeThe Interior Designer role works closely with Project Managers and the Studio Director on all phases of client projects, with an emphasis on interior architectural drawings. You’ll be a part of a highly respected, fast-paced team creating top luxury residences nationwide. This position is full-time and reports to the Studio Director.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the creation of design concepts, space planning, interior architectural design details, schemes, and custom elements of projectsSet-up, develop and edit drawings in AutoCAD; plans and interior elevationsAssist in developing supporting documentation for various projects: interior architectural drawings, presentation boards, renderings, packets, schedules, transmittals, etc.Assist in preparation for client presentationsSource product and gathering quotations from vendors and contractorsDevelop all schedules, including the FF&E schedule using DesignSmartSuccessfully work on multiple projects simultaneously, exercising strong time management skillsAssist in completing the client post-installation punchlistSupport Project Manager as needed to deliver favorable client outcomesPeriodic ResponsibilitiesTravel periodically to job sites, client meetings and installationsAttend new client Team DebriefAttend weekly company-wide office meetingsWhen appropriate, attend client meetingsWhen appropriate, participate in installation –preparation, on site, images and daily summariesAttend industry and educational eventsQualifications and skillsBachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture5+ years of interior design experience with a focus on residential designProficiency in Autodesk & Adobe Suites (including Photoshop), Microsoft 365, Revit and freehand drawingExperience using DesignSmart or similar design project management platformWillingness to be coached with a desire to grow professionally within the firmMust have a positive attitude and be a good team playerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOrganized and detail orientedPossess strong interpersonal skillsMaintain a professional demeanor, polished appearance, as well as exercise appropriate decorum with vendorsPossess a strong commitment to client service and have a strong understanding of decorum with contractors and partners regarding clients’ privacy For immediate review and consideration, contact: Jordan Kravetzky - Jordan@InteriorTalent.comInterior Talent, IncSince its founding in 2003, Interior Talent has evolved into one of the leading talent recruitment and retention firms for the Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Retail, and Manufacturing industries.
