In this role, you will oversee day-to-day engineering operations, manage engineering teams, and drive cross-functional coordination for key projects. Responsibilities include leading program management initiatives, optimizing operational efficiency, and analyzing processes to identify areas for improvement in engineering and production workflows. You will report directly to the COO and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives.This is not a pure design engineering role.This is a hands-on engineering operations and product realization role.The right person will help drive:Engineering project coordinationSupplier engineering managementOutsourced design and manufacturing oversightCAD/PDM/PLM process disciplineBOM and revision controlEngineering documentation workflowsFirst article and manufacturing release processesSupplier CAD integration into our systemsArena PLM administration and configuration managementTransition toward supplier collaboration directly within SolidWorks PDMWe are looking for someone who understands how engineering products actually get developed, released, manufactured, revised, and supported in the real world.Ideal experience includes:Experience in Program Management, with a focus on driving cross-functional projects and achieving milestonesProven track record in Engineering Management, ensuring team alignment with technical goals and objectivesSolidWorks design environmentsPDM/PLM systems (Arena preferred)BOM-driven product developmentMechanical/electromechanical product developmentContract manufacturing and supplier coordinationPrototype through production workflowsECO/revision managementFirst article and release processesTechnical documentation and configuration control
