Social Media Manager

Our client in the travel space is looking for a Sr. Social Media Manager who is local to Chicago to join their team fulltime!This is an exciting hands on opportunity to set the vision, drive strategy, and grow the audience, requiring Tuesdays and Thursdays on site.This position will require US based travel around 1x a month.The Sr. Social Media Manager will partner closely with the Social Media Director, Influence & Partnership Manager, and Community Manager and be responsible for developing and leading social media strategy which will include:- Setting the vision for social media presence across multiple brands, aligning the team around clear creative direction, content priorities, posting cadence etc. - Copywriting, sharp hooks, captions, scripts etc. that reflect the established tone and voice- Leading and developing a team of multiple direct reports, setting expectations, providing ongoing feedback and fostering growth & development- Managing and growing social media accounts across Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Threads, and Reddit- Own the content calendar from planning and briefing, through production and going live across all channelsThe Social Media Manager must have:- 5+ years of social media marketing experience at scale- Proven experience directly managing and developing a team of people- Strong understanding of the product market and how to best engage customers across all channels - Ability to strategize the creative vision and articulate to the team In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
