This role supports a broad range of marketing and communications initiatives including membership marketing, event promotion, branding, social media management, content development, publications, public relations, and creative campaign execution.The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and collaborative marketing professional with strong communication skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. This role requires balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution while supporting a fast-paced, client-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy & Campaign ManagementDevelop and support marketing plans designed to achieve organizational and client objectivesAssist with campaign planning, budgeting, and execution strategiesCoordinate implementation of marketing plans and project deliverablesDevelop production schedules and ensure project timelines are maintainedSupport operational oversight and project coordination effortsContent Development & CommunicationsDevelop marketing collateral from copywriting and content creation through production and fulfillmentWrite, edit, and manage content for websites, digital communications, and marketing initiativesCreate, format, and distribute email marketing campaignsMonitor campaign analytics and reporting including engagement and click-through metricsSupport content strategy and communications planning initiativesDigital Marketing & Social MediaManage updates and content across client websitesAssist with development and maintenance of social media plans and content strategiesSupport social media updates across platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, and X/TwitterMaintain content consistency and brand standards across digital channelsProject Coordination & Administrative SupportTrack budgets, direct expenditures, and staff time allocationsAssist with coordinating project workflows and supporting team deliverablesSupport junior team members through task coordination and project management activitiesIdentify opportunities for partnerships, affiliations, and initiatives supporting organizational goalsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field; equivalent experience consideredMinimum 3+ years of professional marketing and communications experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong organizational and project management abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel up to 10%Preferred QualificationsAgency and/or association management experience preferredWorking knowledge of marketing strategy including research, planning, promotion, and evaluationStrong understanding of social media platforms and content managementExperience using LinkedIn, Facebook, and X/Twitter for business communicationsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookBasic understanding of HTML and website content management preferredExperience working within fast-paced, multi-client environments preferredWork EnvironmentThis hybrid opportunity is based in Chicago, IL and offers a collaborative work environment supporting multiple marketing initiatives, communication projects, and client-focused campaigns.
