Sr DevOps Engineer / ArchitectLocation: Washington, DCDuration: Long TermDev-Ops Architect / Sr. Developer who will be responsible for:Systems and solution design within the existing architecture, as well as the design/implementation of new solutions to meet market needsAutomating and streamlining operations and processes while working closely with the Software Development groups and senior managementBuilding and extending evolving continuous delivery technology platforms with the goal of moving changes to production faster and saferEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Design and integration of DevOps tools and technologies for deployment, monitoring and operations of micro-services architecture based software productsIdentification of ongoing hardware and software maintenance needs, including physical and virtual systemsDeveloping in cloud provider environments such as AWSAdvanced development, design, and integration of MicroServices-based applicationsContribute to system architecture designBasic Qualifications:8 years of deep expertise with Continuous Integration/Delivery & Dependency Management (Team city, Maven, Git)Proficiency with DevOps tooling (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Docker, etc)Experience in bash scripting, Perl, ruby, python etc8 years of hands on experience with Java technologiesExperience with using Agile software development methods in a DevOps environmentThe ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial spiritAdditional Qualifications:Experience with Agile development methodologiesKnowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Git, and GitLab
