Java Developer

Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly in Java, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining applications that enhance our IT infrastructure. Duties Develop and maintain Java applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable code following best practices in software development. Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance. Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services. Utilize version control systems such as Git and SVN for source code management. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices within the team. Skills Proficiency in Java programming language with a solid understanding of object-oriented principles. Experience with web development technologies including JavaScript, React, and Express. Familiarity with Ruby on Rails for application development is a plus. Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS or Azure for deploying applications. Understanding of database management systems like MySQL or SQL Server. Experience with Agile methodologies for project management. Ability to work with Linux environments and command-line tools. Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation. Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python, C#, C++, or VBA is advantageous.
