Key responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance with international, federal, and local laws, developing and overseeing compliance programs, promoting a culture of ethics and corporate governance, and managing export control, trade compliance, and data security and privacy compliance. The role also involves training employees, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining a robust compliance framework in collaboration with executive leadership, legal teams, and operational units.Applicants for the Vice President of Corporate Compliance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, engineering, or a related field, with a Master’s or JD preferred, and at least 10 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or legal roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of satellite industry regulations, including FCC, ITU, ITAR, EAR, and cybersecurity laws, and experience in managing compliance programs and risk mitigation strategies.
