Supplier Quality Engineer

Our client, Energy Manufacturing / Power Generation Industry, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Supplier Quality Management / Global Supply Chain organization supporting Engineering, Manufacturing, and Global SCM Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, cross‑functional collaboration skills, and a results‑oriented mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.   Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer Location: Fort Payne, AL Pay Range: 38$ - 42$ per hour   What’s the Job? Lead supplier qualification activities including supplier audits, capability, capacity, and risk assessments Drive Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) in collaboration with cross‑functional global teams Manage supplier nonconformances through containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions Implement and track supplier quality improvement programs and risk mitigation measures Participate in design reviews and early supplier involvement to support new product introduction, DTL, and DTC initiatives   What’s Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality, technical field, or supply chain environment Extensive knowledge of welding and coatings; CWI certification preferred Strong knowledge of ISO and ASME standards with root cause analysis methodologies Experience leading cross‑functional teams in a global, multicultural environment   What’s in it for me?
