The successful candidate will be responsible for performing precise valuations of companies, securities, and intangible assets across various industries. This involves utilizing proprietary quantitative valuation models, conducting in-depth market research, and engaging in client interactions. The role also includes managing valuation engagements from inception to the delivery of client-ready reports, as well as supervising junior staff in technical and project-related matters. Building and maintaining strong client relationships is a key aspect of the position. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years' of experience, particularly in valuation or accounting, is required, along with a background in financial reporting, accounting and valuation issues, and financial modeling. Direct experience in ASC 350/805 is essential, and a background in generating financial valuation models and common stock option valuations is also necessary. The ideal candidate will have strong writing, presentation, and technical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and online databases.
