The successful candidate will be tasked with performing a variety of valuation analyses, including those based on income, market, transaction approaches, and option-pricing models. The primary focus of the role is on financial and tax reporting valuations, such as goodwill impairment studies, purchase price allocations, and 409A. The VP will also be responsible for leading and executing engagements, managing a team of analysts, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of engagement reports. Strong financial reporting valuation experience, particularly in the areas of purchase price allocation, goodwill impairment, and 409A, is essential. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration, with a preference for candidates holding ASA and/or CFA credentials. A minimum of 5-8 years' of work experience in valuation, finance, or accounting is required, along with advanced proficiency in Excel and Word. The role demands a professional with strong communication skills, superior analytical capabilities, and the ability to conduct in-depth company, economic, and industry research. The ideal candidate will have a background in a top 8 accounting or valuation firm and must be a US citizen or green card holder.
