SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALISTPittsburgh, PASalary: $70,000- $90,000- based on experience and qualificationsThe Supply Chain Specialist plays a key role in supporting daily procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring materials, supplies, and services are sourced efficiently and delivered on time. This position is responsible for coordinating purchasing efforts across raw materials, packaging, plant supplies, and outsourced services while maintaining strong communication with internal teams and external vendors.This individual will help drive visibility across the supply chain, balancing cost, quality, and delivery performance to support production needs. Success in this role requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate within a regulated manufacturing environment while adhering to quality and compliance standards.OVERVIEW OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST ROLE:Execute purchasing activities for raw materials, packaging, plant supplies, and external services in alignment with production requirements and company policiesEvaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery timelines, and overall reliability to ensure best-value sourcing decisionsMonitor open purchase orders, proactively follow up on deliveries, and expedite shipments as needed to avoid production disruptionsPartner with Accounts Payable to validate invoice accuracy and resolve discrepancies with vendorsEnsure all purchase orders include clear specifications and requirements, particularly for technical materials and outsourced productsMaintain accurate and up-to-date procurement data within the ERP system, including purchase orders, receipts, and supplier recordsSupport vendor onboarding by collecting and organizing required documentation such as NDAs, certificates of insurance, and compliance recordsAssist in supplier performance tracking and communicate any changes in vendor status to leadershipCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, accounting, and quality teams to improve processes, controls, and reportingContribute to inventory management efforts by reviewing stock levels and coordinating timely reordersSupport reporting initiatives by maintaining accurate purchasing data and highlighting any risks or issuesAssist in continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement, logistics, and supply chain efficiencyPerform additional duties as needed to support business operationsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field2–5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience, preferably within a manufacturing settingWorking knowledge of procurement processes and basic financial conceptsExperience with ERP systems and strong aptitude for learning new technologies#INMAY2026#ZRCFS#LI-BN2#LI-onsite
