Sales Director

QLM Search is partnering with a specialist Ingredients group with a Sales Director hire in a specialist B2B Ingredient category. The business is a growth leader in providing niche ingredient solutions to Food / Beverage Groups. This is an individual contributor/director level position managing an existing book of business but but the client requires a proven Sales Director with to create and drive the customer strategy to maximise sales growth.Reporting the VP of the region (based in the US) they value someone who has a development / commercial mindset and with this in mind, it is critical that the successful candidate has an understanding of working and building relationship with complex food / beverage groups from a B2B Ingredients background (*** Protein related ingredients is a must for this specific position)**The ideal candidate will enjoy working in an entrepreneurial, stand alone, growth environment, where they have the autonomy to build world class partnerships with their customer base. You MUST have built your career with either a B2B Food Ingredients business, or a Flavor house, where they honed their skills in a combination of both business development and key account management within the B2B Food Ingredients category. **Protein ingredients is a \"must have\" for this hire.
