We are seeking talented and enthusiastic individuals, with positive attitudes, strong work ethic, and passion for making a difference in Greensboro.Brief Description of Work:The Crew Member will be responsible for performing cleaning and maintenance duties in the Central Business District. Specific duties include but is not limited to litter collection, leaf collection, trashcan maintenance, sidewalk washing, herbicide spraying, landscape maintenance, snow removal and special events operations.The successful applicant will be required to use shovels, rakes, brooms, backpack blowers, weed eaters, and other small tools. This individual must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions, maintain a reliable means of contact (i.e. home or cellular telephone) and maintain good attendance.The physical requirements of the job are standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven surfaces, shoveling, and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. This position requires working around traffic and heavy equipment; work will be performed outside in all weather conditions. A CDL Class B Driver's License and North Carolina Pesticides License is required to be obtained within 6 months of employment in order to remain in the position.
