Job opportunities include part-time and full-time temporary work for pre-, during and post-Championship event. Responsible for Carpentry at the PGA Championship Event at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities Artisans and Craftsman with skill sets in woodworking. Successful candidates must have previous experience in cabinet building or finish carpentry. Ability to verify dimensions and build from design drawings with attention to detail and quality. Must have good fabrication techniques and be able to work with a team to complete repetitive processes in the same manner each time. Must be able to follow directions and be able to analyze a project/product to determine if there are any flaws or quality issues. Skill sets needed include reading blueprints, creating cut lists, use of proper joinery, safe use of shop tools, understanding fit and finish. Common tools would be: Table saw, Band saw, Miter saws, Jig Saws, Routers, Nailers/Staplers, Drills, Tape Measure. Must be willing to work under a high-paced environment, meet deadlines and be willing to work overtime if needed. Attention to detail and quality control is a must. Requirements Must be 18+ years of age. Must be able to pass a background check. Must have own local lodging and transportation.
