Based in Ardmore, PA, we work in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties and Delaware.Learn more about us: Pinemar.netPosition Overview:The Carpenter works both independently and as part of a team with the project manager, project superintendent, and lead carpenter to successfully complete projects. The carpenter's role on the team and in the company is to delight our clients by delivering the highest quality carpentry work, executed cleanly and efficiently, combined with creative problem-solving skills, exceptional organizational skills, and a patient, service-oriented, "customer first" attitude.Key Responsibilities:Perform rough and finish carpentry work per plans, specifications, and company quality standardsSupport project superintendents in keeping jobsites organized, safe, and on scheduleIdentify discrepancies or unusual conditions and bring them to the team's attentionInstall framing, drywall, cabinetry, doors, windows, trim, and accessoriesProvide general construction assistance, including minor repairs in paint, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and flooringCommunicate effectively and professionally with subcontractors, clients, and design teamsWork independently with minimal supervision while staying aligned with project goalsMaintain a neat appearance, a reliable vehicle, and a clean substance-free work environmentLift and carry materials up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks as neededWhat You Bring:This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as a carpenterHands-on experience in both rough and finish carpentry, with knowledge across multiple tradesThe ability to read and interpret construction documentsStrong organizational and communication skillsCuriosity, willingness to learn, and a positive, solutions-oriented attitudeValid driver's license and clean driving recordYour own reliable vehicle for jobsite travelCommitment to a substance-free work environmentTools Required:To perform this role effectively, you must own or know how to handle the following tools:Circular saw, chop saw, reciprocating sawCordless drill, routerOrbital and belt sandersFull set of woodworking hand tools (chisels, saws, drill bits, blades, planes, router bits, screwdrivers, etc.)Layout and measurement tools: levels, framing and finish squares, tape measures, and related tools for accurate layout workReady to Build Something Beautiful?Submit your resume and a short note telling us why you're a great fit for Pinemar.
