MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR AN MSP COMPANY Our client is seeking a Information Technology Sales person to join their team and provide strategic guidance and technical support to our clients. As a technical sales person, you will be responsible for determining client needs, researching client environments, creating quotes, and working sales to completion. Collect technical and business requirements from clients and build quotes, estimates, and proposals. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and understand their business needs and challenges. Ability to research and comprehend new technical solutions Navigate multiple technology management tools, portals, and technical environments to gather information needed to create quotes. Review server configurations, hardware specs, software and server configurations during quote development. Learn and operate quoting software and tools. Manage and maintain timely client communications and follow ups Develop relationships with clients to foster trust and communication Understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing and products. Stay updated on the latest IT trends, technologies, and best practices. Create, modify, and manipulate Microsoft Word documents at an intermediate level. Create and manipulate Excel spreadsheets and formulas at an intermediate level. Organize and prioritize multiple competing priorities and requests. Track and document your time. Additional Duties & Responsibilities: Participation in company projects, meetings, and objectives. Ability to travel to client sites as needed – locally or within the continental US Demonstrated Competencies: Critical Thinking – Synthesizes complex or diverse information; collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data; understands workflows and procedures.
