Outreach Specialist

DescriptionJob Description: Develop relationships with referral partners (primarily non-educational consultants). These partnerships are composed of psychiatrists, hospitals, therapists, clinics, educators, and other community-based organizations/professionals primarily in Utah and throughout the United States. It is expected that referral-producing contacts and relationships developed in the past will be maintained and developed with the potential use of Telos services. This is a high-trust, possibly remote position that requires a high work ethic and integrity standards. KPIs revolve around outreach activity and (eventually) the generation of leads who are admitted to the family of Telos programs.DutiesOutreach related travel.Set up and execute outreach-related meetings, including but not limited to lunch-and-learns, drop-ins, visits to clinical teams, maintenance of existing relationships, etc.Respond quickly to requests for service.Work efficiently with the Admissions Department.Assist in pre-screening leads for appropriateness of fit.Weekly (initially) correlation meetings with supervisors.Periodic attendance virtually at various department meetings.Build and maintain relationships of trust with the Telos team.Stay current on Telos services, policies, and procedures.Other duties necessary to produce leads and admits for Telos programs.RequirementsQualifications:PREFERRED: Has an existing network of Utah-based referrers in the mental health space.Excellent mastery of verbal and written language skills.Familiarity with electronic communication and documentation.Familiarity with HIPAA requirements.Ability to travel and present.Personality and way of being conducive to building relationships of trust with referring professionals.Ability to work well as a team.High-level knowledge of residential treatment services, the continuum of care, and associated mental health topics.Professional demeanor that represents the clinical excellence and expertise of the Telos brand.Honesty and integrity of personal character--the ability to do the honest and ethical thing when not being observed by those in positions of authority.
