Project SpecialistStart: ImmediateDuration: 18 MonthsLocation: Hybrid from Pomona, CA with occasional site visits (usually once a month)W2 hourly Pay rate: $40.41Day-to-DayScheduling Substation Programs projects (100 – 150 ) projects, each under $25M) with some level of complexity, Able to document delays to provide time impact analysisRequired to develop schedules and incorporate schedules already in use for some parts of each projectExpert at master integrated schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and calculating earned valuesDirect involvement in tasks necessary for successful project execution. Identifies problems and solutions. Collaborates to establish project objectives, timelines, risk analysis, milestones, and deliverables.Utilizes project controls in exercising schedule management, forecasting, performance monitoring such as variance analysis, maintaining schedules and project plans, identifying trends, and assessing performance against schedule targets.Organized and drives actions to resolve issues immediately or bring them to PM for action. Effective communicator is essential; data gathering will include many groups and contractorsRequired SkillsMust be Proficient in Primavera P6Must have 7+ years’ experience in scheduling and capital projects/constructionMust have Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Visio) and SAPEducation: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, construction management, business, finance, or project management, or a combination of education, training, and experience, equivalent to a 4-year collegeDesired: Utility experience/Substation utility experience is a plus.Preferred: Construction management experience
